2023 - Prepping the land

We spent lots of time in 2023 expanding the size of the garden and the orchard. We set up the compost area at the back of the garden in preparation for more garden expansion over the next few years. We had 3 baby goats born in January, Karen was a very good mom to Frosty, Stormy and Lizzy (blizzard). Can you guess they were born during a snow storm? During the summer, Miranda set up her first bee hive at the far corner of the property. And in December of 23, we had 5 baby goats born! It was a good year.
